God really laid it on my heart to start Where Eagles Fly, for many reasons. Most you have already read on the home page, however, one story imparticular gave me the extra incentive to start it.
On the news a while back, there was a story about how a young Iraqi boy saved hundreds of soldiers lives.
A large group of American soldiers were scouting around, when an Iraqi boy came up to them, urging them not to go any further in the direction they were headed.
Upon seeing the soldiers' skeptical looks, the boy partially opened his cloak to reveal one of the beanie babies the soldiers had given out earlier. The soldiers then turned from their present course.
Later it was discovered that if the soldiers had ignored the boy and gone in their previous direction, they would have it an enormous mine field.
